Learn to Knit
Beginner Knitting class September 7, 14, 21, and 28.
Whether you're a total beginner, or just looking to refresh your skills, this class is for you.
The session is 4 classes of 1.5 hours, in which the instructor will guide you through your first knitting project,and beyond if you're fast.
All materials can be purchased at the Button & Needlework Boutique, or you can bring your own gear.
Suggested materials include:
DK yarn (cotton, soy, corn or hemp are recommended) and 4mm straight needles.

About your Instructor, Jill Inget
Jill comes from a long line of old school knitters. Though she didn't pick up the needles in earnest until University, she was well taught by her grandmothers, both seasoned veterans in the craft. Jill has taken numerous classes and has raised a whole crop of new knitters through both individual lessons and classes in Canada and Japan for more than 5 years.
