We thought warmer days were approaching, but we saw frost and light snow at the beginning of the month.  But, all the bulbs have survived and
spring is just around the corner.


This is the start of a cardigan using Sirdar's "Simply Recycled" yarn.  It is knitting up beautifully.  This machine washable yarn is made from 51% recycled cotton, 49% acrylic, 142yds per 50g ball.




All of the Spring yarns have arrived, and here are some tasty models that show off some of them beautifully:



This luscious cowl is knit with Berroco's "Glint" yarn.  The pattern (Chaka)  is available in Booklet #306.  The metallic strand in this yarn is nestled within a chain of soft cotton and crisp linen.


 


This gorgeous slinky top was knit by our knitting partner in crime, Julie, out of Schulana's new Seta Lux yarn.  It has a gorgeous metallic sheen and comes in beautiful colors.  This pattern (Petrie) is by Beautia Dew and you can find it on Ravelry at http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/petrie
