Happy New Year everyone.  It is a great time for making plans, re-grouping, reflecting on the year passed, and looking ahead.  Nothing inspires me more, or brings me back to the "present moment" than nature.  A rare Northern Saw-Whet Owl was spotted in Oak Bay a few months back.  They are gorgeous birds! 

We have had some chilly days, but no snow in town yet.  It is a great time for knitting some needed accessories. The designs below are a few classics to keep you warm and cozy this winter.

Winter Cottage depicts a beautiful, serene winter scene at the cottage as children enjoy the outdoors. The design utilizes cross stitch and other embroidery stitches.

Stitched on 28ct. Smokey Pearl Cashel using silk and overdyed threads.  Design size 89 x 82 (6.4" x 5.9").
