This great Ascot is knit with Berroco's Flicker yarn.  So soft, and really nice to knit with.  I'm thinking fingerless gloves, next.  You can download "Gurie", a free pattern at:

This lacey cowl/scarf was my inspiration to try combining two yarns.  I used one strand of CEY's Portland Tweed in the grey with Schulana's Silver Kid Paillettes yarn.  The result was a nice tweed effect with just a little bit of sparkle.  This is a free pattern called Silverstar Diamond Leaf Scarf,
and you can download it here:

Sundae Cowl

This yarn begs to be knit into a big chunky cowl or scarf.  This one took two skeins of Berroco's Sundae yarn.  I used color 8721 Salty.  Here's how I made this one:

Using SZ 15 (10mm) needles, cast on 19 stitches.  Every Row: K1, P1 to end. Cast off in pattern.  Twist your rectangle and seam the cowl at the back of the neck.  Cosy!!

This simple drop stitch scarf is knit in Schulana's Macaibo, col. #2.

Here's the pattern for this Divine Drop Stitch Scarf:

Using sz 8US needles, c/o 30 sts and knit two rows.
Row 1: *k2, yo twice (wrap the yarn around the needle twice)*, repeat from * to * to last 2 sts, k2.
R2: *K2, drop the next two stitches (the two wraps from the previous
row)*, repeat from * to * to last 2 sts, k2.
Repeat these two rows, leaving enough yarn at the end of the ball for casting off.  After a Row 2, bind off all stitches loosely knitwise.
