All the leaves all falling and the mornings are cool and crisp.  The change in the weather puts us in the mood for stitching and knitting. Christmas will be here before we know it and hand crafted giftts are on our minds.

A trip to Dan's Market was in order to take advantage of their beautiful squash, apples, and pears.  Here you can pick your own pumpkins from their pumpkin patch.

This great Ascot is knit with Berroco's Flicker yarn.  So soft, and really nice to knit with.  I'm thinking fingerless gloves, next.  You can download "Gurie", a free pattern at:
http://www.berroco.com/exclusives/gurie/gurie.html

This lacey cowl/scarf was my inspiration to try combining two yarns.  I used one strand of CEY's Portland Tweed in the grey with Schulana's Silver Kid Paillettes yarn.  The result was a nice tweed effect with just a little bit of sparkle.  This is a free pattern called Silverstar Diamond Leaf Scarf,
and you can download it here:

This is Judy's Peakes Island Hood by Ysolda Teague. She used Ella Rae Kamelsoft yarn, and knit this beautifully lush scarf.  Perfect for a stroll through the city on a cool day.

Julie's amazing Sweater Coat was knit with Debbie Bliss Riva Yarn.  A nice chunky weight that is light as air.  This pattern turns a rectangle into a sweater!  Find the pattern in the new Lang book, "Fatto a Mano Vintage Book 184"

Back View - beautiful!

Frill Seeker Yarn is all the rage this season - one ball makes a beautifull frilly scarf!

We have some gorgeous buttons in for your winter coats.  Choose from leather, horn or fabric covered buttons and get buttonedup!
